ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

The insulation is made of 100% post consumer (RECYCLED) soda bottles

The temporary sites will now have an R-7 insulatory value using INSULBLANKET, versus tarps which are R-1/2 due to gaps and design.

INSULBLANKET has polyester (PET) insulation, a PET vapour barrier, PET stitching and PET webbing for the outer surface.

Heat seal lamination is used instead of glues, meaning no contaminants.

When returned, INSULBLANKET’s grommets are popped off and the blanket is again recycled into valuable insulation.

Depending on window coverage, winter construction can burn up to 5 years of the heating fuel necessary to heat the entire building in just 3 months – INSULBLANKET lowers consumption to less than 1 years’ use.

INSULBLANKET delivery trucks have 1200 cc engines (about the size of a motorcycle engine) and get 50 miles to the gallon, and can be converted to clean burning natural gas – they can tow 1,000 lbs. which is enough to deliver 40 blankets to the site at 55 mph (70 km/h) in our newly designed trailers.
